Award-winning pet photographer based in Pt Chevalier, Auckland
Welcome! We're so glad you found us. Your pet photography experience begins here!
We believe that the furrier members of our family are just important as the ones who stand on two legs, and that's why we love to spend time capturing the personalities of dogs, cats, and other pets. Whether it be high energy excitement, curious exploration, or tongue-lolling smiles, we aim to create something that you're going to love.
We specialise in indoor portraits, with soft, neutral colours. We like to incorporate the use of chairs and other props, while keeping it minimal so that the personality of your best friend shines through. We encourage you to bring along anything special you'd like to add in too - a favourite ball, or a special bandana. We photograph with the end product in mind, so will ask about the colours of your rooms - that way, when we print something to display, it will fit right in.
Why choose us?
As a pet owner myself (look out for Juno - the dog wearing a Christmas headband!) I know just how important our pets are to us. Therefore, safety and enjoyment are both integral parts of the photoshoot - for pet and owner alike! The studio is pet-friendly and very laid back. Sessions are pet-led - we allow plenty of time for them to get used to their surroundings and give plenty of affection and treats. Though primarily a dog photographer, we've had cats and kittens through too and am always open to trying something new!
We also know that our pets love us just as much as we love them, and so we encourage a photo or two with you in there too, if you're willing!
Finally - We like to think the images speak for themselves, as they have won international photography awards.

"Siobhan took some beautiful photos of our little puppy. Despite our wee pup not being overly obedient and very wiggly, she made it feel fun and easy. Would highly rate Siobhan as a dog photographer and would be happy to suggest her to anyone who wants dog photography!"
Auckland Pet Photographer FAQs
When should I book?
Whenever you like! However, if you're aiming for a special occasion or age, it's best to book ahead of time so we can definitely fit you in. This is especially important for puppies and kittens who grow very fast!
How long do sessions take?
A dog photography session will take somewhere between 20 minutes to an hour, simply depending on how your dog gets used to the studio and whether there are other family members jumping in for photos too. Other pet sessions vary - again, it's all about making sure your pet is happy in his or her surroundings before we begin.
I have a GIANT/TINY dog - will it still work?
Yes! When it comes to dog photography we have all kinds of props that fit all kinds of pooches - from little bowls that fit puppies, to a 2 person seat that fits big dogs.
I saw this photo with a prop I love...
Bowls, baskets, couches, headbands... if they belong to the studio (most things do, unless they were brought in specifically by clients) - you're welcome to use them in your session too! Feel free to ask ahead of time and we can make sure to incorporate it in your pet photography session. Having said that, if you have anything special you'd like to include, feel free to bring it along too.
You do other types of photography too, right?
Sure do! If you're looking for any of the following, click on through -
I still have a question!
We would love to answer it! To find out anything about our Auckland pet photography sessions or anything else we may be able to help with, please get in touch with us. We can't wait to meet you and your pet!
